After her medical education, she completed residency training at Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York, and a fellowship in Minimally-invasive, robotic foregut and bariatric surgery at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, New Jersey. Dr. Patel proudly holds membership in several professional organizations including Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeon(SAGES) and American College of Surgeons(ACS). Dr. Patel performs various types of general surgery and foregut surgery with specialization in minimally invasive and robotic techniques.
